Flushing and BASF Glythermin Freeze and Corrosion Prevention dosing project for Turkey’s largest information technologies center Koç Sistem Data Center has been completed.

The data center located in İstanbul Çamlıca houses Turkey’s free-cooling system and was designed according to Green Data center principles.

Climitization systems of data centers poses especially challenging conditions as they house many variable systems (20-170 kW cooling, electric heating, humidification, dehumidification) for data rooms, system halls, simulation laboratories, high automation offices, clean rooms.

Flushing procedures were applied with utmost precision for 2 weeks while the system was fully functional. Related water analysis was done on site by Deser Kimya officials and operations was completed with high efficiency.

After the flushing operations , BASF Glythermin was gradually dosed into the cooling system fully online.
